We had no booking just thought we would call in to see if we could get something to eat for lunch.....From the time we walked in to the time we left we were waited on like we were VIP's. This is what is lacking in lots of Restaurants, but not Elmar's. The food was fantastic and the beers great. Thanks so much, we have told all our friends and we'll be back!!

We have been here for a friend's birthday each year, and each time we vow to come back as it's just fantastic for the kids! The adults can enjoy a drink while the kids are entertained in the best way possible - running around in the fresh air on grass! You can always guarentee the little ones will have a nap in the car on the way home! This year we are coming back for my husband's birthday in December! We are becoming Regulars!

My first time experience was for Oktoberfest on Sunday Afternoon 2011. I had a great time with my partner, his mum and sister and four of my Children. The kids were kept entertained with the bouncy castle for hours and my eldest daughter enjoyed the other activites, rope pulling and jug holding which were well organised with plenty of humour too. We all sat on the lawn area and enjoyed an easy delicious lunch of traditional german sausages washed down with some black beer (Dunkel) and Apple Cide. Well done to the staff for keeping things moving along, despite the crowds we didn;t have to wait very long for food, drinks or facilities. Would recommend for couples or families. See you next year, if not before!!

Elmar's never disappoints! The food always fills the craving you want for meat, potatoes and kraut. We love the tasting plate, giant pork knuckle roasts and the beer. It's rare to fit in dessert but when you can...the creme brulee is superb!!

My partner and i came here for his birthday. I have so many dietary requirements it is extremely hard to find somewhere to eat out. I informed Elmar's of my needs and on our arrival we were met by the head chef to see what he could do to make out stay even more enjoyable. It was a fantastic experience and i felt so welcome, to have such great service is incredible. I booked a table for 16. We were seated outside in the Ale Carte Section. Live Music were great and set a perfect athmosphere for a Sunday Lunch in the Valley. The Service was Exellent! Staff was very professional, the food came out all at the same time. All 15 of my friends were very impressed with there meals. They will all be back and will reccomend Elmars to all their friends and family.

Visited Elmars for a early mothers day lunch (week before actual mothers day) with the family, had a lovely meal, great customer service and although hadn't booked and they were busy they were extemely helpful in getting us a table and its a great family restaurant, we had 3 little ones with us and they also enjoyed their visit and their food. Firstly I would like to thank Sandalford for being closed today because we never would have had such AN AWESOME DAY AT ELMAR'S!!! The 3 of us fell in love the minute we walked outside. Cocktails were fantastic, food amazing and little to no wait time even though the place was packed! We all loved the fact that Elmar's was really family friendly, so much so that I actually felt guilty about leaving my son with a babysitter because he would have loved it so much! Can't wait to come back next weekend!

Last month we had a Corporate Lunch at Elmar's for approx 108 people - platter style outside. I had been extensively liaising with Carla Lizzi on this.

I wish to advise, Carla was fantastic, very patient, clear communicator, super efficient and fast problem solver. What a pleasure to deal with and gave me great confidence for the day, especially not having been to Elmar's myself.

I was also very impressed with your Floor Managers who introduced themselves and offered their assistance if required. The food was outstanding!

I have no hesitation in recommending Elmar's! Keep up the great work - you have an excellent team!
